With over 35 years of experience, Mark’s career reflects a lifetime of perfecting the craft of cut, color, and style to make every client look and feel their absolute best.
As a senior stylist with a passion for cut, color, and style, I’ve been helping clients look and feel their best since earning my license in 1987. My career began in Orange County, where I apprenticed for two years, mastering the art and science of hair design. Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for delivering personalized solutions and fostering long-term relationships with my clients.
I’ve had the privilege of working at some of Southern California’s top salons, including Christopher’s in Fullerton, Allen Edwards Salon in Newport Beach, and Images Salon in Corona del Mar. For 20 years, I owned and operated Salon Heavener in Laguna Hills, which earned numerous accolades for excellence. Among our achievements, we placed 2nd in the 2014 BMA Awards, earned recognition on the OC Hotlist, and we ranked among the Top 100 Salons in the U.S. My work has also been featured in notable publications such as Coast, Orange Coast, Us Weekly, BE! Beauty Entertainment, and #ModernSalon.
Today, I am proud to call La Petite Salon Deux in Old Town La Quinta my professional home, continuing my commitment to exceptional service and cutting-edge techniques.

Beyond the Salon
When I’m not creating beautiful hair, I embrace life to the fullest. I’m a lifelong golfer, skier, mountain biker, and surfer who enjoys staying active and connected to nature. Cooking is another passion of mine, where I find joy in creating and sharing meals with loved ones.
